As highlighted in 2016 at the world’s largest toy trade shows, the relatively new toy trend “Design to Play” has produced toys that are so attractively designed, it is a pity to tidy them away.
Funnybone Toys launched in 2012 with this focus on games that are fun to play AND to look at – ahead of the trend! – and five years on, offers almost a dozen “Design to Play” games!
Funnybone Toys’ products have won over 35 industry awards. Disruptus was named a Good Housekeeping Game of the Year in 2013, and the company’s most decorated game to date, 2015 release Juxtabo™ color stacking pattern game, was awarded top honors by Creative Child Magazine, winning both Game of the Year and Creative Play of the Year in 2015.
Here is an “at a glance” overview of their colorful and fun products!
1. Funnybones game – targeted to natural history and children’s museums. It’s a replication of the ancient game of astrolagos, (Greek for “knucklebones”) – and was a pre-cursor to the modern game of Jacks. (age 6+, $9.99)
9. Our original “Art of Card Games” trio – Spectrix, Array, and CUBU – popular with museum stores and book stores in particular since 2012 (age 8+, $14.99 each)
All of the games also have videos on YouTube and on the company website, Funnyboneproducts.com
